Scientific interests

  1. Vibrotechnics: Dynamics of vibratory machines, passive vibroinsulation systems of a high efficiency, synthesis of multimass systems of passive vibroinsulation.
  2. Resonance: Analysis of non-stationary states of over-resonance vibratory machines with a special attention directed towards transient resonances and towards the drive units selection for inertial vibrators.
  3. Modeling: Modeling of complex physical systems, discrete and of distributed parameters.
  4. Analysis: Application of self-exciting vibrations in measuring technics. Perturbation calculation. Methods of averaging.
  5. Optimization: Dynamic optimization – Pontiagin’s principle, gradient methods with a punishment function. Parametric optimization – Lagrange multiplayers method, minimax.
  6. Measurement technique: Application of vibrating wire sensors in measuring dynamic deformations of building structures.
